Pushing It to the Limit!

Last night at Destiny's Community Empowerment Night, I shared the Power Faith and Living understanding of who we are as individuals who are created and made in the likeness and the image of God. I get so excited when I share of the divinity of who we are as children of God! It was a powerful time.

I admit for the past few years I have been tentative and tried to couch my words in ways that would not offend or frighten individuals. Traditional theology teaches that there is only one perfect person which is Jesus. I have come to understand that Jesus calls us to a higher revelation of Truth about who we are. He raised our standard to that of the Father's when he stated, "be perfect as your Father in heaven is perfect." Moreover, he stated that, "if we have faith, we will do that which he did and even greater things..."

The essence of who we are as human beings is spiritual. For the Christian, (those who follow the teaching of Jesus) we have His Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit makes us Divine and is the essence of our being. My friend, we are spiritual beings having a spiritual experience.

I have decided to share this message without hesitation or reservation. I am maturing spiritually and have no other option other than to share the Truth of the Gospel as God reveals that Truth to me. In the past, I have lost members who felt challenged by the Word, especially when I preach about personal responsibility and embracing the Truth of our being.

Life is too short to preach some age old fable that resonates with no power--which most churches and denominations teach. The Gospel is challenging and liberating and it resonates with POWER to transform lives. Christianity is not about a confession of faith to a religion, it is about New Birth that happens spiritually when we accept the Truth of the Gospel and allow Jesus to be our Lord and Savior, but more importantly our Way Shower.

When we understand who we are as spiritual beings, we can make a difference in the world and transform the landscape of life as we know it. We have embraced a religion that makes us spiritual victims to life expecting some God outside of ourselves to show up. When in fact, we have the power of God within us and we have the power to make the difference.

My messages will be more challenging in the weeks and the days to come. I promise that I will be true to the Spirit of God and to The Word. I pray that you would remember me in your prayers that God would use me in a powerful way.

I invite those who are serious about their spiritual growth and development to join us on Sundays and Tuesday Nights at Destiny Church and Destiny World Prayer Center.

Live with Faith and Power and Creating a Phenomenal Life!
