Reflection

The beginning of the year for me is always a wonderful time. My teachings, seminars, and all the services not only help others, it also helps me to keep centered and focused on my goals and what God has for me in my life.

Last week I spent time with individuals who have been touched and blessed by my ministry and I was completely overwhelmed by their emotion and gratitude. It is a humbling experience to know that an inspired teaching can produce the results of transforming a person's life.

During my stay, I had several meetings with individuals who are remnants of the now defunct City of Angels Church in Los Angeles. One of my mentors, the Reverend O.C. Smith (and his wife the Reverend Robbie) most noted for not only his church, but also the song in the late 60's "Little Green Apples" devoted 25 years of his life to build a church that had tremendous impact and a membership of 5,000 plus.

Since late November I had been receiving calls from many individuals to come and revive City of Angels and be their minister. I have been very flattered by their offer and love. After several phone calls and now meetings I feel led to establish Destiny-Los Angeles in 2008. From my trip this week we have established a leadership team of 42 individuals and will be having weekly teleconferences and meetings to lay out the plan and the launch of Destiny-Los Angeles. When we launch we will have a membership of 1600 members.

On January 27th, as I enter into my 25th year in ministry, I will be consecrated to the Office of Bishop. This is an office that I have been actively engaged in starting churches in the Chicago area, Hyderbad, India, and South Africa. With the launch of the Los Angeles Church it seems only fitting to solidify my position as Bishop (Over-Seer) of Destiny Churches. Destiny Church-Northwest Chicago will continue as the Headquarters Church and will be my primary place of ministry.

I need your prayers and support as we continue to build the vision of God! I know this year is a Phenomenal Year for you!

Live with Faith and Power and Create a Phenomenal Life!
