On the Inspirational Call this morning I shared of the story of how Abraham was told by God, "all the land you see will be yours..." Abraham from the position he was could not see all of the Promised Land. God told him also to walk the land. Now if we just leave it there we would focus on the idea that it is a story about Abraham and the Promised Land. However, it is more than that. The story is about how we lay hold of our promised land.
Just like Abraham we have to be able to see our highest good and our blessings. God is willing to give us everything that we can see in our lives, but we have to be able to SEE it. As Children of the Father, we have the ability to create and co-create with God. That is a major part of being made in the likeness and the image of God. God is not an arbitrary and moody god, but of one of intention, clarity and purpose. Or lives should never be less than this We must know what we want in our lives and see it. The words of truth share, "delight thyself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of our heart."
Norman Vincent Peale in his work, "The Power of Positive Thinking" shared the importance of prayerizing or as I call it visual prayer. What if we could see ourselves walking in the fullness of God each day? What if we knew exactly what we wanted in our lives and as we prayed we saw it in our minds eye. This is what the principle that Abraham demonstrated. Imagine walking through in the power of your mind and faith that which you desire. This is creation at it's best each day!
I want to encourage you to use all of the tools and spiritual principles you have that is available to you each day. You don't have to be a passive voyager on the seas of life. You are a wonderful and powerful manifestion of God and a beautiful expression of the Father.
