Bonus-Don't Wear Yourself Out Trying to Get Rich!

"Do not wear yourself out to get rich; have the wisdom to show restraint" (Proverbs 23:4).

Many people work so diligent and hard to accumulate great wealth and abundance. Where that is important, our acquiring of wealth should never cause us to have great stress that leads to so many of our problems that we have. Many of the diseases and illness that we have are all stress related. Most breakdowns within families center around stress. What good is having great financial abundance with great stress? One of mentors suggested that, "we are not trying to be the richest man or woman in the cemetery." Great wealth should not wear you out.

Getting rich should not be our aim. Financial abundance and prosperity are residuals of a heart that is focused on God. The Promise of God in Deuteronomy 8:18 and his covenant in Deuteronomy 28:1-14 shares that we are to be blessed materially. The covenant is not something that we have to aspire to, all we have to do is BE it. Prosperity and Abundance is our birthright.

Jesus shared, "seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness and all other things shall be added"(Matthew 6:33). When I seek God and manifest Him within my life, I walk in the fullness and the blessings of God. Everything starts with a God-Consciousness and our relationship of Oneness with the Father through Jesus the Christ.

The "Being" of wealth is getting in the flow of the Spirit of God. It is allowing Him to lead, guide and operating within His rhythm. The challenge that we have is to find the flow and get in it. It makes life a lot more enjoyable, than literally killing ourselves for material gain.
