"...we will not neglect the house of our God" (Nehemiah 10:39b).
This verse stands alone and it speaks to the importance of the place of worship and our responsibility to take care of it. It appears that we live in an age where our spiritual growth, development and needs are important and are primary; but what about the things of God and the place of worship?
The Children of Israel were not just concerned about their own individual needs but they wanted to ensure that the House of the Lord would be well taken care of as a place of refuge and support for His people.
God will bless our houses when we take care of His house.
