"Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish" (Psalm 1:5-6).
One amazing thing that I have learned over the years that wickedness and evil is not always being morally challenged. That is a major part of it, but it also deals with negativity and anything that is not of faith. In Numbers 13 when the spies went out into the Promised Land, they came back with a "evil" report (KJV). The evil had nothing to do with morally failings, it had everything to do with negativity and a lack of faith. Most people I know are morally good people and have no problems with the temptations of the flesh, but I know a lot of people that are wicked and evil because of the negativity in their lives.
Negativity is a cancer. If we allow it to get into our lives and into the Body of Christ, it will destroy everything that it touches and will prevent the believer from gaining his inheritance in God.
The wicked will not stand with the righteous or be in their assembly. Meaning that they will not walk in the fulness of all that the Father has for us. We have to keep focused, that is what the whole Psalm is all about. You have to know that you are the Righteousness of God through Christ Jesus and that God is watching over you and will always be with with you. When we operate in negativity we forfeit the blessings and the care of God. God cannot operate in negativity and an environment that is not of faith.
This day, get rid of ALL of the negativity! Get rid of anything that does not affirm God's plan and His best.
