Greater Joy

"You have filled my heart with greater joy than their grain and new wine abound"(Psalm 4:7).

Our relationship with the Father is the source of our joy. The necessary aspect of a Christian personality is joy. Imagine that a disposition of gladness and rejoicing! Their is no place in the life of the Christian for a somber, mean and indifferent spirit.

Joy is part of the fruit of the Spirit. It is a reflection of a life that has been redeemed and reconciled to the Father. It is cultivated when we build our relationship with the Father through the Word, prayer, fasting and fellowship with like-minded believers.

Today, walk in the joy of the Lord.

Father, I focus on you my strength and my joy.
I align my life with your gladness and
I rejoice in you.
