It is evident that our thoughts are powerful and creative. Have you ever thought about it, what ever you hold in your mind it literally creates. The scriptures state, "as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he..."
We have the ability through the creativity of mind and thought to create our world. This is one of those not too secrets of success. "Our mentality creates our reality." So the question is what do you have on your mind? That is an easy question to answer, what do we have in our lives? Robert Allen in his famed writing shared, "our lives are the sum total of our thoughts." Whatever our predominate thoughts are it shows up in our lives. What does this say about the quality of our thinking?
I have a tendency, especially when things are not going as I want them to blame it on something external. You know, it is the economy, the weather, my dog, etc...when the reality is that the external factors have nothing to do with it. It is what is going on in my mind and my thought process.
One of my mentors shared with something powerful, he stated that nothing in life is really external. Everything that goes on we process it internally and whatever our internal state are, that is how we understand life and the events of life. Wow! It is all dependent on how we process our thoughts around people and events.
This has been liberating for me and I hope that it will be for you as well. Remember, the next time you are dealing with something, instead of reacting ask yourself a better question; "what does this mean? What is the most empowering way to deal with this? We have the ability to create the reality we desire and it is all based on thought.
